How to calculate the weight and density of titanium rods?

      1. Density of titanium

      Density of commercially pure titanium TA1/TA2: 4.51 g/cm³

      Density of titanium alloy TC4: 4.43 g/cm³

      For regular quotations and weight calculations, it is sufficient to use a uniform density of 4.51 g/cm³.

      II. Formula for calculating the weight of titanium rod

      Round titanium rod (commonly used)

      Weight per meter (kg) = 0.00451 × diameter²

      Formula source:

      Volume of circular rod = πr²L

      Weight = Volume × Density

      After simplification, it can be directly used as: 0.00451 × diameter²
